Privacy policy
We collect very little, we use it only to run early access and answer you, and we never sell it. Here are the details.
Effective
The short version
Who we are
Inclusely is made by EVDEV, a Shopify agency in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean EVDEV. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
This policy covers the website at inclusely.ca and the early access form. The Inclusely Shopify app is not released yet. When it launches, this page will get its own section for the app, described below.
What we collect and why
| Form field | Why we ask |
|---|---|
| Name | To address you properly when we write. |
| Email address | To reply, to send your early access invitation and, if you agree, occasional product updates. |
| Store URL | To look at your public storefront and prepare your free scan. |
| Country | To know which accessibility laws are likely to matter to you, for example AODA in Ontario. |
| Company size | To plan which features and plans to build first. |
| Reason for joining | To understand what you need, such as a demand letter, an AODA report or general improvements. |
| Consent | A record that you agreed to be contacted, with the date, so we can show it if asked. |
When you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply and follow up.
When you visit any page, our hosting provider records standard technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, not to build a profile of you.
When you use a free tool, most of the work happens in your own browser and nothing is sent to us. If a tool needs to send something to our servers, such as a store address to check, the tool says so next to its button, and this policy applies to what it sends.
We do not ask for, detect or store whether you use assistive technology or have a disability. The early access form does not ask about health or disability, and you do not need to tell us.
Where your information is kept
This website is hosted by Vercel. Form entries and emails are stored with cloud service providers that work for us under contract and may use them only to provide their service to us. Some of these providers store data in the United States, so your information may be processed outside Canada and may be accessible to authorities there under local law.
Only the EVDEV team members who run early access can see form entries, and information is encrypted when it travels between your browser and our servers. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your information at real risk, we will tell you and the regulators the law requires us to tell.
How long we keep it
- Early access entries: until the app launches and then for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner.
- Emails: for as long as we need them to help you, and no longer than 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Consent records: for as long as we keep the information they relate to.
- Hosting logs: for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, delete it or stop contacting you. Write to [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days and will not charge you. We may need to confirm it is you before we act.
Canada
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you can access and correct your personal information and withdraw your consent. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Quebec
Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, you also have the right to be told how your information is used, to ask that it be deleted or no longer shared, and to receive it in a structured, commonly used format. Our person in charge of the protection of personal information can be reached at [email protected]. You can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
United States
Several US states, including California, give residents rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can use the other rights by writing to us. We will not treat you differently for doing so.

Children, changes and contact
This site is for businesses. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we will email the people affected before it takes effect.
Questions or requests: [email protected], or EVDEV, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This policy describes how we handle personal information. It is not legal advice about your own privacy obligations as a store owner.
